Wow GS trying to feel like us slightly. Down 24-0 to SoAL.

41-14. So GS scored 1 more than us.

Question is do we lose to either of those teams. Seems SoAL is a lot better.

If we play App football and execute, we don't lose to any other Sunbelt team. If we don't, we could lose to several teams. That's how it always is.

Been a rough week for fandom in my household. This was supposed to be "The Year"...the mighty Heritage High School Huskies we're going to finally beat their cross-town rivals of Wake Forest High School. Heritage was undefeated and I believe WF had two losses. If was not to be. WF pulls it out 23 -12. It was 14-12 until final minutes. Extra points matter. A missed extra point required the Huskies to go for two of which they missed as well. Damn, it's been a rough week.

Watauga beats Hibriten 49-13 to remain in sole possession of first place in the conference. They have won the conference for the past four years, and looking good again this year. As a young team, they're getting better and better week after week. Watauga's QB, a freshman, reminds me a lot of AE.

WHS has come a LONG way from when I played. 3-7 & 1-9 my 2 years of playing varsity ball. Awesome to hear that they've turned the corner.

WHS has come a LONG way from when I played. 3-7 & 1-9 my 2 years of playing varsity ball. Awesome to hear that they've turned the corner.

They have one hell of a head coach, taps into all the talent on the team and develops it to the fullest. This year's team is full of sophomores and a freshman QB, and he still kicks ass. Amazing!

these early games have been entertaining....Florida and LSU is crazy, and Texas and Ok St is also a good one.

OK - the am sure you guys don't care about my beloved 11 time State Champion Beavers but the situation is what I am asking about ---
They missed 35 days of practice because the county schools were closed so they played one early season game and that was it until last Friday - they played Friday, then Monday of this week and then again last night - So 3 games in one week ---
Has anyone heard of that happening in high school football? My guess is that the NCHSAA would not allow that ---

I watched the ULM game fourth quarter .They are improving but I have no idea how good LU is .And Terry Bowden must be under five feet tall...
