We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

No helping hand to a pirate
No class or knee slapper? Either way, I hope we don't make this a habit Mr. Harrington.

Yeah. I don’t care to see this from our guys ever again.

Lol some of these comments are just wow! When Parker Collins just bulldogs someone and gets flagged we love it and talk about how it sets the tone. I know it's not the same thing but I could care less about this, I don't think it makes us a "classless" program or Harrington a classless player. In fact that dude is a difference maker and an emotional tone setter. They had quite a few dirty plays if we really want to get into it, but I certainly don't take exception to it.

Re: No helping hand to a pirate
I laughed a little at it.
We don’t even know if it was intentional or not. The coaches could have been yelling at him to get off the field and he couldn’t stick around to help him up.

Naahhhhh, watch that pull away and you can easily tell that was intentional. We laugh at the little things until they turn in to big things and then blame people for not doing something about it when they were little things.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Sat Sep 04, 2021 2:41 pmI laughed a little at it.

Re: No helping hand to a pirate
I saw it during the game and live it looked like Harrington thought the Pirate QB didn’t see his extended hand. The replay makes it look on purpose. If that the case I’m not a fan.

Re: No helping hand to a pirate
If he did this to one of our rivals and it started a scuffle that gets him and potentially others kicked out of the game will you still care less? One dumb incident doesn't make us or him classless, but if it becomes a pattern then yes. There is a big difference between hard hits, or even a stare down post hit, and holding your hand out to help only to pull it away. I have a feeling any of us would have had some choice words for him were we on the receiving end.NavyApp wrote: ↑Sat Sep 04, 2021 2:36 pmLol some of these comments are just wow! It was bad…but I laughed anyway. Maybe the QB had been talking trash to him?

Re: No helping hand to a pirate
I get what you are saying. With that said there are a lot of ifs and buts involved. In that incident I could in fact care less. There is no evidence to suggest that this is more than an isolated incident. Also the coaches have seen the video, I'm sure it has been addressed. And your right it's different in than hard hits or a stare down, but I was referring to ECUs late hits out of bounds and a few other things that could have easily been flagged as unsportsmanlike conduct. At the end of the day THIS incident is being blown a bit out of proportion.appdaze wrote: ↑Sat Sep 04, 2021 2:53 pmIf he did this to one of our rivals and it started a scuffle that gets him and potentially others kicked out of the game will you still care less? If that exact situation happened in reverse I would not have thought twice about it.

My god if there were microphones on the field you would not imagine the amount of trash talk. Best thing that could have happened from this would be if it wasn’t posted.

Re: No helping hand to a pirate
Its a sports forum where we discuss actions of our players on the field. So there is no problem with it being posted here. We all know players talk trash. Thank you. Their voices are rarely heard on the field. Their actions are captured forever in recorded media.
