dang, BC just scored after an amazing fake fg attempt to pull Clemson offsides and get the first down, next play was a TD pass. They lead 28 to 7 with one minute to go in the half.

Any refs on the board? That fake FG that drew Clemson offsides seemed like an illegal shift penalty when both the placeholder and kicker motioned towards the LOS at the same time.

Yeah, I understand why. I was just trying to infer that one big reason, as you mentioned, is sun belt in not considered a bottom feeder anymore; largely driven by our success in rankings the past 3 years. I’m just bitter we had it tougher than them.

All backfield players can move forward, backwards, or sideways at the same time. As long as they all are set for at least one second together before the snap. No one can be moving forward at the snap. Only one back may be in motion at the snap and that has to be either side to side or backwards.
