LSU TAF does a great job. Obviously we have different resources, but Yosef should strive to move in the direction of that program or at least their website. It's amazing compared to ours.BayouApp wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 10:53 amI agree a little more outreach and communications would help, but I'm sure there are staff limitations. If we could just get more people even at the smallest level. EVERY business in Watauga County and the surrounding area that benefits financially from ASU and attendance at sporting events should be a member and should proudly display their Yosef Club decal (good for business too). Many that do business with the athletic department should as well regardless where they are located. A lot of companies have significant contracts for stadium work; they should join! It may be that most do join (smart business move), but if not just a friendly invitation may be all it takes. This is small thing, but it may help to streamline the process for joining the Yosef Club. Provide a faster online option comparable to online retailers, including the ability to save payment information securely to expedite the process the next time. The PDF form is okay, but it is not as fast nor as easy as other options. Something similar to the LSU TAF one would be good: https://www.lsutaf.org/donate/\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 7:55 amYosef Club support is HUGE! In your personal opinion what more do you think could be done? I think the reach out and communication is weak from the Yosef Club. I know we could all promote it ourselves but someone like me with limited friends I still talk to from college and living in an area with little interest in App State it makes it hard.

Re: Would you pay double or triple?
One has to be careful with using volunteers but what about some of us making calls (after screening and training to make sure we do nothing to put App State in a bad light) on behalf of the YC. I don't have a lot of money to give but I can give some time and making phone calls and phone banking can be done from anywhere.
Or writing a letter in my own hand and mailing it to a short list could be useful for YC fundraising. A hand-written letter from the hart takes time but it is also something I could do while I have the TV on in the background even.
If a volunteer brings in money from an alumni that has never given before above the price of a ticket then give the volunteer a free ticket to a game and keep the rest for YC. Heck I would be willing to donate stamps for some letter myself and though I hate making phone calls I might be persuaded to do that. If I donate $25 in stamps and can raise $100 from a few first time donors (that may continue to give in future years once connected to the YC) then that is $100 the YC may never get. Even if they send me a free ticket the YC is still better off and it did not cost more than a few hours of one person's time with some basic training. As an introvert this is something I would be more than happy to do and I would even promise to write slow and neat so my letter would be legible.

At this point, withdrawal symptoms are strong...pay at least triple for live action. Pay more for live game in Madison, Wisc.

With the product we have to sell , the returns should be much greater. From all sources. I’m not impressed with our marketing effort ,or the staff.

Re: Would you pay double or triple?
I would gladly give up my tickets with no refund to ensure the students get in. App has the best student section set up in the country and every App student who wants to attend should get the same experience we all got as students.
As for paying double/triple, I'd possibly be willing to pay double for ULLLLLLLLL, stAte and maybe Troy but no one else on the home slate. Sucks for us that the year we get most of the SBC upper echelon teams at home sans GS, we have to deal with Covid.

Re: Would you pay double or triple?
If the number of seats available has to be reduced I agree they should charge more for them. I'd also be willing to wait until the 2nd half to come in after the students leave.
