We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

yeah, Jaylin got rung up on a pitch that looked way outside. For a free feed, really not too bad.

Yes this makes the Sunday starter come into question now. Unless they want him to have some more innings under his belt and see if it will help him.mtnjax wrote:bringing Springs in for relief in the 4th??

Springs has been pitching good in the relief role. Maybe that is a better role for him?3rd wrote:Just throwing this out there but would it be smart to bring Marcello back to start on Sunday, and move springs to the bullpen/weekday starter?

Re: App state vs. ETSU
Yea i think it may for at least this year, and moving Marcello back to starter shouldn't hurt much. He hasn't done that great out of the pin. Also, couldn't do any worse than Springs did on Sundays. At least he gave us some wins and went deep into some games last year. If we move him back to being a starter that would give younger pitchers more time to develop, and also gives us a better chance of winning. But we will see what happens.mtnjax wrote:Springs has been pitching good in the relief role. Called after 6.5 innings. Will finish next week in Boone.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Re: App state vs. ETSU
This is the only picture I took, but their stadium is 100% first class, all-the-way. Brick everywhere, real dugouts, padded outfield wall, authentic turf, and a GIANT video board. We didn't see indoor practice facilities, but the stadium is just up the street from the mini dome. There's a big parking lot in left field where tailgating is encouraged. Unfortunately conditions were less than ideal and there were only about 10 of us out there, including their fans. It seems like the score/video board is the draw to pay for admission. No way to see it from there and it slightly obstructs the view to center-right. It sounded like they have pretty good support on nicer days. From a fan perspective, I can't think of a better non-conference, weekend home-home series going forward.

Went over. Only saw about 4 other Apps. That's not good since its a one hour drive from AVL and 1.5 from Boone. It was a really nice facility.
