Why not Noah Hannon? Undersized FBS center. Started since day 1. Makes all the line calls and has not had a bad snap out of the shotgun in his career.

Acatelli had the best footwork I ever saw.
He was a very good FCS OL in his era. I just have a hard time putting these smaller guys up there very high unless they were a multi-year All-American.
Go back and look at his game against Michigan..

He was a good one. Here’s his coaching bio as well. https://goheels.com/staff-directory/mario-acitelli/3113

Our whole line played well for most part in that game but Kerry Brown was the one who was destroying their guys. One myth about our OL units back then was that they were the best in FCS when we had a good but not great line. Edwards used his legs to escape a lot so it is not like we had a brick wall back then. Isenhour and Brown were real good and Acitelli had a good year but I don't think you could put Mario in that 1st or 2nd team group. All those guys were NFL caliber linemen or multi-year All-Americans who did not have the benefit of a player like Edwards.

I actually think he will be an even better coach than player. He is very smart and someone I expect to have a very good coaching career.
