I had some time to throw together some mockups this evening. I assume that the new turf will look something like at least one of these. I definitely don't see us going with a green endzone, but I do see the new 'AppState' wordmark being used in a pretty bold way. I would love to see Yosef at 25-yard line (opposite the SBC logo), but I don't see that happening.

I'm cool with the top 3, but would prefer the middle 2. I just don't see the need to include the block A with anything in the endzone. Just do the black endzone with yellow (gold or whatever you want to call it) font with either Appalachian Mountaineers or App State Mountaineers in the endzone. These things don't need to be overthought.

Remember when Athletics did a poll on whether the white block A or black block A should be on the top of the videoboard, the white block A won overwhelmingly and Athletics were pissed about it?

I got a feeling the next block A at midfield will be black, just like the new soccer field and new basketball court. The charm offensive by Athletics has been successful.

And I wouldn't be surprised to see "APP STATE" in one or both of the endzones. It's showing up on more of the uniforms in the last two years.

This one or an option you didn't have with App State in one end zone and Mountaineers in the other. Nice job with those though.

correct. I don't see the need to add a logo with appalachian or app in the endzone.
