Threatening murder on a sports message board - very cool, very normal.
Taking a tongue in cheek comment on a message board to seriously. Very normal, very cool. The worst harm you would come away with is probably a hangover from some high gravity, Savannah brewed beers.
Sounds much more fun than getting drowned in a creek.

Cheers, enjoy your bowl tomorrow. There aren’t many teams I’d pull for GS to beat but Liberty is one.
Cheers and likewise. Everyone have a safe holiday

By definition you are ignorant as it is impossible for you to understand the feeling of being ranked.

Merry Christmas.

You said it came about organically, PAL, then said it was taken from UGA. That is not organic, organic would be if it were created at Georgia Southern. Pretty simple to understand if you ask me, PAL. Regardless, whether it was taken from UGA or App, it was taken from someone you have serious envy towards. You're welcome.
The justification he used to argue it wasn't stolen was that it wasn't done illegally. Wow.
Please outline clearly where is said that. Wow
I found it! What do I win?

If you head to Statesboro on 12/26 I’ll personally baptize you in eagle creek. I’ll dunk you for at least five minutes or until you stop flailing.
Eww

Not App related, but the Santa Claus in the Rankin-Bass Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer TV show from 1964 is an ass to Rudolph.

He’s an ass to everyone in that show.

I think, but you may not, that:
Boo Lawrence and Chili Payton still remain two of the most exciting players in Appalachian basketball history ... and ... I'd take K. Richardson in our backfield any year, and B. Quick as a receiver. I also liked Hans Batichon for route running.

I don't know if it's unpopular by this board, but these are unpopular with a few of my friends:
- I hate the gold pants & helmets (actually more yellow than gold)
- I've never enjoyed sitting on the hill. Sorry, but i don't like grass stains or mud stains on my pants.
- Taylor Lamb was average and held us back from winning more games.
- The Yosef logo should be used less.
I agree with those. I think there have been times that Thomas has held us back from winning by more at times but he has more talent than Lamb. Thomas needs to work on being a more consistent passer. His ability to run and extend plays have allowed us to do some things that Lamb and some before him just could not do.
2 years starting, two different offenses. Hes done well.
He is very good and honestly is the 2nd best QB to ever play at App. My point is that we have had some games where we should have run away with it but did not because I felt we got conservative and Thomas did not make some throws he should. Right now I don't see him as a NFL player because of the inconsistent passing. If he could clean that up I think he would have a shot. Thomas is a great player but I can show you a lot of clips on tape where he made just awful throws. He would tell you that. His legs are what makes him elite for us and if he can clean up some stuff throwing and stay healthy he has the mental aspect and the dual threat skills to really do damage with all the weapons he will return next year.

Richardson was a GREAT FCS player but he would not start on today's team. Brian Quick would start today and so would Armanti but Richardson would not. Moore, Evans, Williams Jr, Harrington, and Peoples are all more talented, faster players. I would put Richardson behind those guys in terms of ability. As far as careers at App yes Richardson had a great career. He probably had the 1st or 2nd best stat career at App. He played in an era where people were more worried about the legs of Edwards though. He would probably be 4th string on this team.

We are playing at a different level now. Unless the App player from prior to 2015 was a NFL player like Quick, Jason Hunter, Armanti, or 2-3 time All-American then I am not sure they would have a shot to start on our current roster. The only area of our team where I think we could take multiple guys from I-AA/FCS days and start today is I would put Murrell and Hunter at DE spots and put Jamie Lovern or Ryan Watson at DT. They were big guys who could move.

FCS football is and always has felt JV and unimportant. I’ve been a huge College Football fan my whole life, but as an alum my interest in App football has increased 10x since we moved up to FBS.

We had some very good ones in the old days for sure. Compared to their time they were real good but if you took those guys and put them in 2019 exactly like they were then without our technology and from the level we were recruiting none of those from prior to 80s would start today I bet. I don't think people realize the caliber of player we are getting now. I look at it this way. Every year in recruiting we would get 1-3 guys maybe like Edwards, Quick, DJ Smith, etc that we knew would be really good. I remember the highlights of Kimbrough and thought whoa he will be good. Now, we are getting like 12-15 like that a year at least. We maybe signed 2 guys this year we could have had a shot at while in the SoCon. We are recruiting another level of athlete now. I maintain that guys like Kevin Richardson, Scott Satterfield, etc. would never have a shot to even make the 2 deep if they came through this generation. I bet this team now would beat that 1995 team by 30. Remember Michigan where Dexter Jackson was the one speedster who could give fits? We have like 4-5 like that on offense now. We have speed like we never had before right now.

Going 7-5 and beating your rival is better than winning the conference and being ranked.
You don’t have to convince me!
Ignorance is bliss I guess.
Being happy after Going 10-3 and 8-4 and beating your two rivals two years in a row after going 5-7 and 4-10 is a good thing and far from ignorant my friend, plus I’d rather beat you while your on top anyways. We’ve got the right man in place and I wouldn’t be surprised to see both of us play a rivalry game where we’re both ranked in the near future. I also think such a game would be much more interesting. Here’s to hoping we get this game back on Saturdays.
We have to schedule your team on Thurs. That is the day of the week middle school plays. Nice loss FIU(powerhouse)
