Changing the subject here, sort of, but what other needs might we have? We didn't have an running backs in this class and not many receivers, hopefully we'll get the one guy in Feb.

How many open scholarships do we have? Any potential transfers look interesting?
I'm assuming Clark & Co will re-assess after the bowl game.
We currently have one scholarship open. The one vacated by Lowery.

Are there any HS players available out there that our coaches really like who could get that scholarship? And if Brown does not end up signing would that be known in enough time to use his on one as well? Really hoping we don't lose Brown. His film is very good. I figure he will redshirt and it will take a couple year but he has good hands, size, and seems to run pretty well. I would think after a couple years in the S&C program he could be a very good one for us.

1. Take a sample of blood and send to our humble Board Moderators to be tested for black and gold status.
2. You must allow an in home inspection by same moderators to make sure your closet and drawers are free of P5 and other G5 clothing.
3. You must verify your inclusion to the Yosef Club.
4. Prove your affinity for BBQ and show that you know how to use cups and ice - preferably at the same meal.
5. You must lose your cool and demand for a coach's head in one of his 1st few games.
6. You must derail a thread about football into all of the above subjects.
7. If all that fails, just email our moderator and ask permission.
I actually got access, although I do own a few Georgia t-shirts/caps that I wear for UGA games on days when App isn't playing. I keep them stored in a secret location with my AR-15's and other non PC possessions. Ssshhhhh!

Recruiting rankings are very subjective, but there is some truth to it. You can have somewhat of an idea who's going to be stacked and who's not. G5 it tends to be more of a crapshoot, but I like to follow it and keep up with the depth and the way they're building out the roster.

What do you guys think of the Navy Shuler? Do you think he could be the next guy for us after Thomas?
Shuler? I'm not sure he has the tools.Seen him play several times and I just have not seen enough to say he will be the guy.My gut says no .

I thought we would keep several open for walk on guys who earn them spring practice. Like most of our D line did.

There's normally natural attrition that happens after the season or after spring practice when some players decide to transfer or hang up their cleats early...so maybe a few are expected to open up.

No idea, but we need depth at QB also. We've all seen what happens when there a QB goes down and the backup isn't game ready. Maybe DGB will be the man and Shuler is the backup. Maybe DGB never pans out and Shuler proves himself to be the field general (Lamb) type of player. Regardless, I'm glad to have them both on the roster and I hope they both have great careers at App.

Hey, if he's the man who rises to the occasion, I'm fine with that. I've just never really seen him projected as a starter. We've only seen him in clean up duty so far, so I really don't know what he's capable of but I'm sure he's got skills.
