Amazing game to watch! After meeting some of the field hockey players and seeing their passion for the game, I've become a field hockey fan for life. If you haven't seen the video on goalie Rachel Gaines, please take the time to watch it. Rachel is a scholar and an athlete and a Mountaineer to the core.

I had the video stream on while working today - one of the benefits of working from home. My little field hockey players are off school for teacher conferences tomorrow. We will all be cheering on the team. The conference schedule went a little rough for the ladies after the stellar non-conference run, but I think Coach Dawson has the team to win it all this weekend.
Also, if you have never seen field hockey, give it a watch. In my opinion, it is easily the most fun women's sport to watch - far more enjoyable than women's soccer, softball, or basketball - though I like volleyball too.
