We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Wonder if the XFL or CFL will be viewed as the more prestigious league for players.

The CFL is a 100+ year old league with a long storied history of stable teams with established fan bases. It’s got a crop of great players, many of which have gone on to excellent NFL careers. The XFL has a long way to go to reach its caliber.

I think a lot of college guys that don’t make the NFL go into the CFL thinking it’ll be a cakewalk because it’s Canada. They are rudely awakened. My understanding is that, at least among those that have played in the league, it is perceived as very good professional football only surpassed by the NFL.

Players may wish to play in US despite the tradition. It will be interesting to see how it shakes out.

Oh most definitely. Many chose the Alliance of American Football league over the CFL, I’m sure.

But, like every other league before it, it died a quick expensive death. Much like the XFL V 2.0 will probably do.

I’m always curious to see if the stability of the CFL is an attractive draw for these players.
