Zion Nelson
It appears young Zion Nelson is the starting Left Tackle for Miami game 1 as a true freshman. Obviously that is not entirely indicative of guaranteed success but it is still surprising to me. We had him so close to signing but apparently he made a solid decision. Wish the young man the best.

Re: Zion Nelson
Last night should not be an aberration of how good he is or isn’t. He needed a year to bulk up properly. The fact that he played last night is more of an indictment on how bad Miami’s OL depth is.

I didn't watch the game, but based on the overwhelming comments on twitter even their fans were embarrassed - and that's for both teams!

Re: Zion Nelson
They started three first time starters on the line. Both tackles were Freshmen and the Center was also making his first start. FU is going to stay in a lot of games because of their defense. The fact that Miami’s QB was able to walk off the field under his own power after the game, is a miracle.Appster99 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 8:15 amI didn't watch the game, but based on the overwhelming comments on twitter even their fans were embarrassed - and that's for both teams!

Re: Zion Nelson
If Miami can keep their QB up right they will be a problem in the ACC. That is a a HUGE IF, if last night was any indication. As for Florida I was very underwhelmed by their offense as a whole.
