Tourney Wofford
I was hoping to pick Wofford for a few upsets but they got pegged with Kentucky in the second round. I hope I'm wrong but I'm not seeing as many upsets happening this year.

We gotta live vicariously thru somebody that isn’t Duke Or UNC......
For a coach that has stuck with Wofford for 30 years I gotta throw some props their way.

I still can't believe we got snubbed for the at large bid.

I didn’t know that Gardner Webb had wins over two ACC squads. Gardner freaking Webb....

You're allowed to say their name - they aren't Voldemort.
Though I'm sure many on here would rather see the Death Eaters win it all.

Re: Tourney Wofford
It only flagged up for a second, but looked like they said wofford is the best deed out of the conference since App State (6) in 1976... I think that's what it said. This pre dates me by a while, does this sound right?

Re: Tourney Wofford
I'd like to see Wofford do well and they're a great story, but I don't actually think they're a top 25 team. They didn't fare well when they had their chances against the big boys this year. They may get by Seton Hall, but if so I think UK handles them easily.

Oh so young lol. 1979. Won SoCon only 7 years as a D1 program. I remember it well. Coach Bobby Cremins. Turned things around in 2 years. Bronx to Boone. Lost to Indiana in the first round.

Re: Tourney Wofford
Nope. Lost to LSU on Indiana's floor.
Also to be fair, the field wasn't 68 in those days. So, Wofford's 7 seed is the best the SoCon has done.

I hope they lose in the first round the way their student celebrated on the field in 2007 will taint them forever for me.

Re: Tourney Wofford
Why would you hold it against their students for upsetting the best #1 team in the country and defending national champs? Our students had a habit of rushing the field and tearing down the goal posts in those days. Should all our opponents hate us for that?
