RIP Peter Tork

As a second grader in 1967, my two "can't miss" TV shows were Batman and The Monkees. RIP Peter

Batman, The Monkees (with the coolest car!), and The Banana Splits. I always wanted one of those 6-wheelers.
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

The car was a crazy GTO ,reminded me of a Hot Wheels "Python" .Good memories , and yes, "Rat Patrol" , and "Combat".

I have it on DVD somewhere. I always loved it whenever the Cubs had a rain delay on WGN and they would show a re-run of Rat Patrol.

My friend Lloyd Christmas told me The Monkees were a big influence on The Beatles
I just come for what peace I can find | The spirit ever lingers in a song | And the mountain's gonna sing this song for me |Rock me off to sleep
