SoCon BB Tournament--ASU

At this point it appears that both the men and women will be the 4th seeds and will both play on Saturday afternoon. The men play at 2:30 in the U.S. Cellular Center and the women play at 2:15 in Kimmel Arena on the UNCA campus. It means ASU fans won't be able to catch both teams play. Interesting logistics will come into play. If they both win, fans will be able to catch both teams on Sunday as the women play at noon and the men at 6. Their likely opponents should they win would be Chattanooga for the women and Davidson for the men. We obviously haven't fared too well against either lately.

If you listen to Darcie's post game comments, the women are done. Would not surprise me to see them lose to Samford tonight and in the tournament and be bounced. Vincent claims the seniors have quit. I would go to the men's game, they look like they have some fight left.

I guess you can only take so much public bashing. I think our run at the top of the league is in jeopardy. From all indications, Darcie's recruiting in the current freshman class does not match up to efforts in the past. She didn't get any real substantial contributions from any of the freshmen this year. With 4 senior starters departing, things could be rough next season. I wonder where this team would be if Ashlen Dewart were still playing here. We had absolutely no answer for her Saturday. Our inside presence is lacking and that makes very vulnerable against teams like Chattanooga and Davidson.

Completely agree, she has driven the bus over these seniors way to many times in their 4 years and now she is looking bad for it. She ran off Ashlen who is now dominating ASU every time she plays App and is on pace to win a Southern Conference title at UTC.
