Interesting timing. With this information, I would expect we hear something official tomorrow....thank goodness! This place can’t take it much longer!

Definitely hope he is offered the chance to stay. He's a Mountaineer through and through.

I’ll put my money on Ruffin McNeil. Everyone saying Gattis will be disappointed when the announcement comes tomorrow morning.

Pretty sure I saw somewhere he was out of the running. Doubt it

Maybe so, but according to the HCP he’s still in. I would be fine with McNeil or Gattis, but I just hope everyone on this board doesn’t go into a depression if Gattis doesn’t get it.

I don’t like McNeil. Wasn’t he fired at ECU?

That story has basically just copied and pasted the speculation from footballscoop. It’s wrong too - Lists Settle as the only one with NFL experience, when Gattis has it as well.

Well, my not yet posted theory just got blown out of the water. I figured with the lack of leaks and the tight lid that Gillen had his man and that man was already here. They either announce tomorrow or at the end pf the bowl game.

I teally like Ivey. I hope he gets to stay (DC?) because if it is Gattis, we’ll be needing a new head coach in 3-5 years and then it might be Ivey’s time.

Yep hope he’s on as DC. Especially if it is a new HC without direct App ties.

I’d say no. If they aren’t promoting the interim guy, I don’t think they are taking anyone from the staff.

I know there is too many threads for us to keep up with, but I have an extremely reliable source who confirmed McNeil is out. I also posted that the team was told that Ivey was out earlier yesterday (just to validate)

I thought it was Gattis up until last night when I started hearing a few conflicting views.
