I like our chances on Saturday but it is tough to beat the same team twice in a season...

If we pull off a decisive win on Saturday what are the odds we get ranked again? Boise v Fresno will eliminate one or the other from rankings.
It will have to be 3 touchdown at least in my opinion to catch anyones attention over others in 25-30 spots. But only championship games this week and we are on the mothership station at noon. Will get plenty of eyes.
Lets be loud even if we are wet and cold.

I doubt we get ranked on this game. Would need more help and a dominating performance in NOLA (against a decent team).

Did anyone catch this morning's Sirius CFB show THE FIRST TEAM with Greg McElroy and Taylor Zarzour? They pounded home the point this morning that G5 is perceived as and is a lesser brand of football and will not get ever chance at the playoffs under the current format. Several callers tried to make points of how to allow for the playoffs for G5. Zarzour was for a G5 playoff. McElroy pointed out the economics of G5 being second rate. All valid points. We are stuck with no chance except playing in a bowl we are tied to and not a four team playoff for a G5 national champion. We are what we are and it's not changing, I hate it. Prime example 2 year undefeated UCF, may get ... may get to play on New Years Day.

I'm guessing no one could tell me why NC State took overtime to beat a 2-9 UNC team then received more votes in the Coaches poll this week while App convincingly beat a good 9-2 team and then received less votes in the same poll this week? What coach would lower there opinion of APP after Saturday's game? I'll say it again.....we need to get the 32 G-5 coaches that have votes in this poll(1/2 the pollsters) to show more respect to the G-5 teams.

ULL QB sounding a little too confident. Need to hit this bunch in the mouth as soon as they get off the bus. We can't look at the game as a coronation- but a war, just the same as Troy.

I have to say, I was treated very well when we visited this year. Your fans were gracious and polite. But some of you keyboard jockeys need a good spanking...

I'd say APP would beat all in-state teams this year. G5 needs their own poll and playoff. Perception and reality aren't going to change, coupled with the fact G5s aren't going to be cherry picked into existing P5 conferences. The economics are against most all of G5 schools.

Heard Stocksdale from Middle Tennessee on XM today and he is dead set against a G5 playoff. He feels as though it would widen the gap between P5 and G5 which he doesn’t want to see.

On another note, also heard Karl Benson. Had a lot of great things to say about App State.
