I don't think this is big enough yet. Not that I don't think this award is small news either.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Guy had above average speed and couldn’t throw and one of the best leaders App has ever had and by all accounts an even better person.
Congrats Lamb!

Where’s the guy who used to criticize Lamb’s passing? He finished with almost 10,000 yards and 90 TD’s passing.

Can we still yell at Bobby to get off the field or did he get his revenge in the long term?

Had the opportunity to tee it up with Bobby but never got around to telling him all the things I yelled at him while he was at FU.

What Taylor did was great and all but have you seen the offense this year? Zac is a much better thrower of the football.

Re: I assume this is the big news.
It's amazing to me that Taylor led our team through the most successful FCS to FBS transition in the history of college football and if our kicking game had been on track would have led us to two P5 victories during that transition which is unheard of. He's just been awarded the highest honor in the Sun Belt encompassing all sports, not just football, and yet we're still talking about his arm strength? There's way more to quarterbacking that arm strength. Come on guys..

Spot on with the kicking addition. Someone please remind me of a game we lost with Taylor where we could have won had his arm been stronger. We beat Wake and UT with relatively easy kicks converted.Rick83 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 8:47 amIt's amazing to me that Taylor led our team through the most successful FCS to FBS transition in the history of college football and if our kicking game had been on track would have led us to two P5 victories during that transition which is unheard of. Way to be a dick when you could have been positive in celebrating Mr. Lamb's accomplishments. Class act you are not......

Way to be a dick by saying he was great? Haha OK I’m sorry he had obvious deficiencies that I’m not going to overlook when someone tries to call out another posters accurate comments. Good for him on the award tho!HighPointApp wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 9:37 amWay to be a dick when you could have been positive in celebrating Mr. Lamb's accomplishments. Class act you are not......

he had the intangibles, and knew how to take advantage of the opportunities for the team at the right times, was calm under pressure...a protege of his head coach in my opinion.Yosef10 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 9:39 amWay to be a dick by saying he was great? Nope, you won't get to give me the boot over this event. This one caught me off guard yesterday when it appeared here. I'm extremely proud of Taylor and this is a "big Joe Biden type deal" for him, his family, App and the SBC. The truth is that I didn't see this one coming. I read about it here like everyone else.

Re: I assume this is the big news.
I think he was pointing out the back-handed complement. The thread was about celebrating Taylor Lamb and you did take an opportunity to say "yeah, but he's not as good as Zac" (with regards to throwing the ball).Yosef10 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 9:39 amWay to be a dick by saying he was great?
