Greensboro Chapter?
Is there an active Alumni chapter in GSO? I thought I had see on here a while ago that it was kind of inactive.

GSO is part of the Piedmont/Triad Chapter. See the related thread. Viewing Party is at Char Bar.

Re: Greensboro Chapter?
The viewing parties this year were at World of Beer in Greensboro. I attended the UGA & bowl game parties and each one went very well. Well organized and was given a free beer by the Alumni. Keep it up Piedmont/Triad Chapter!

Re: Greensboro Chapter?
Does anyone have an idea what has happened to the Piedmont Alumni Chapter? It used to be rockin', meeting almost every week for games/events. Now all of the sudden, it's vanished. Has Meghann Murphy moved? She's usually an awesome representative.

Re: Greensboro Chapter?
I had not noticed but now that you mention it all the emails about morning socials which I never attended stopped being sent to me. I can't add anything beyond that.

Right. I've always wanted to attend the morning social gatherings but couldn't because of scheduling issues.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Wed Oct 03, 2018 4:24 pmI had not noticed but now that you mention it all the emails about morning socials which I never attended stopped being sent to me. Re: Greensboro Chapter?
Given my location on the extreme east side of the city of Greensboro and not seeing any watch parties for Ark St in Greensboro I am planning to crash the Alamance chapter on Tuesday.
I guess that is the closest option for this side of the Triad.

Re: Greensboro Chapter?
Does Cha Town refer to Char Bar 7 per chance from previous viewing parties?
I think you know my feelings about CB7.

Re: Greensboro Chapter?
Being the Burlington location is about 15 minutes from my house and this is on a work night I will have to pass on driving over 90 minutes to Charlotte, but I appreciate the personal invite. Hopefully all the locations get to watch a victory around many App fans.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Fri Oct 05, 2018 9:10 pmCha(rlotte) Angry AlesMcLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Fri Oct 05, 2018 8:28 pmDoes Cha Town refer to Char Bar 7 per chance from previous viewing parties?

Re: Greensboro Chapter?
If anyone in the Greensboro area wants to join up for a viewing party. The Piedmont Alumni Chapter is having a viewing party downtown at Stumble Stiltskin's tonight at 9pm.

Re: Greensboro Chapter?
I think I also noticed where there was a gathering in High Point though I can not remember the location. Burlington also has a gathering at the same location as the Ark ST game, which I think is the Piedmont Ale House.

Re: Greensboro Chapter?
Unfortunately, I couldn't attend any of the viewing parties. However I was very impressed with how many were offered throughout the country. Especially here in NC; one in very city in the piedmont, RTP area, coastal area etc. Keep it up ASU Alumni!
I'm especially relieved to see the Greensboro Chapter being back (after missing almost all this season) & now a High Point & Burlington chapter getting started. Technically I live in Greensboro, but right on the border to High Point & is originally from Burlington.

Praise God the Greensboro (or Piedmont/Triad) is back in action. Special thanks to Stewart Farris for taking over. Looking forward to watch Saturday's game @ Mac's Speed Shop!

Everyone in the area needs to go to the game! It is not that far of a drive. Come on alumni, show up and show out!

Re: Greensboro Chapter?
I don't think there is a High Point chapter. I've lived in HP over 45 years and don't know of one. And I'm probably the most die hard App fan in High Point.ASU2012 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 2:40 pmFacebook link to the High Point chapter?MountaineerChemist10 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 17, 2018 11:04 amUnfortunately, I couldn't attend any of the viewing parties.
