And be aware that GA comes to ATL to play Ga Tech on the 25th. We won't be the only game in town. (One of G.T. fans favorite restaurants is Ted Turner's place downtown.)

I've got tickets to the GaState game, too. I'm starting to question my sanity - traveling by myself, Thanksgiving weekend, Atlanta. My App brothers will have my back as usual, right?

I plan on being at the game. I believe the Atlanta Alumni Chapter has selected the Gold lot for tailgating. You can purchase parking for $10 in advance on the GSU site or pay $20 in cash only day of the game. Go APPS!

Ga. State could develop into one of our "preferred" road destinations. It's one of our closest conference rivals. Big city. Lots to do. What a fun opportunity! By the way, the Falcons play the Bucs there on Sunday. The city is big enough to handle it all in stride. Here we are part of a big time football weekend in ATL. Who would have ever thunk it!

More proof that good programs remember and recall losses. Bad programs remember and recall victories.Yosef84 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 27, 2017 11:49 amI'm with you on that. It was one of the most miserable home game experiences I've ever had in KBS.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Fri Oct 27, 2017 11:23 amAs embarrassing as the Liberty loss the following week was, that USA game was just as bad IMO. Factor in bone-chilling winds (in early October) and the "stripe the stadium" flop, and it was overall one of the saddest experiences I've ever had in KBS.Yosef84 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 27, 2017 11:16 amUSA probably is a bit over rated this year, but they have been a team that was extremely inconsistent and when "on" their game, they were capable of playing very well. They completely dominated App in 2014, although that was a couple of weeks before the lights came on for our program. In 2015 they gave us an extremely tough game as well though. Honestly, I can't figure them out at all.

They all scare me. Sweeping the Belt is no easy task, and uncharted territory for us. We better improve special teams play or it's going to derail us. I would trade a loss at UMass to get a sweep of the Belt. Ideally that won't be necessary. I hope the Wake loss was enough.WataugaMan wrote: ↑Fri Oct 27, 2017 12:17 pmConcerning the rest of the games on our schedule Georgia State "scares" me. UMass, Monroe, The Stink, and LaLa, if we stay focused should be wins. Let me tell ya, Shawn Elliott is going to have GaSt ready and focused for our game. Once again, we can't take anyone for granted particularly Elliott's team, just have an eerie feeling. Just a thought.
