Scott Satterfield on BGP [Black & Gold Podcast]

Unread post by APPARJ » Wed Sep 13, 2017 12:53 pm

Season 3 has made a lot of history and we made some more with this episode.

Scott Satterfield joined us earlier this week and it was a blast. Every App State fan will enjoy this one.

As of this posting the show isn't on iTunes but should be within 15-20 minutes.

I would be more inclined to listen if the podcast was shorter, more like 30 minutes.

I listened. I liked the line of questioning to coach. It's nice to talk to him about things other than Xs and Os.

Lots of good interviews and information for those of us away from Boone. Length of show always seems to be in proportion with content and guests. Happy, Happy, Happy!

I think the length is great. I do spend a lot of time in my vehicle though, to be fair.

On the road a lot here too, especially to Cincy. The restaurant Satt references is the Montgomery Inn. Very good ribs.

Sometimes the podcast can be long, but I could have listened to Satt talk about eating and Sister Act for another hour probably. Coach is going to be in so many foodie small talk convos going forward. Dude like food.

Thanks for doing these each week guys.

Beth and the first ladies of App Fotball were featured the new All About Women magazine that's on newsstands around the High Country and she told the same "Sister Act" story.

I also like the longer podcasts. I have. 30-40 min commute and enjoy listening on the way to work.

Doing a great job guys. I really enjoyed the Satt interview!

Enjoyed it.

Wish we could've heard some stories from GA (Mr. Yosef), may he rest. This may have already happened as I have not heard every podcast so my apologies if it's been done. Is it possible to get any of the Duggins Boys on (ie. Jack Groce)?

We need to get as much of App's history on audio record as possible. Keep up the good work fellas!

there was an episode where DJ told stories on Gerald Adams. 8 months back maybe, will bring you to tears. GA was one of the great ones, no doubt.

Great idea! I'm sure she has some great stories to share.

Speaking of JA, I received a call from her a couple months back thanking me for being a Yosef Club member. I was quite surprised by the call as I'm not a big time donor but definitely thought it was nice personal touch by YC to reach out. I thanked her for the call and told her we appreciate all that her and GA had done for App and it's student-athletes.

It's one of those calls that make you feel like we are heading in the right direction with the right leadership. Brick by brick!
