I don't know the reasons like Moose does, but it's generally believed that Elliott wanted Sloan at Georgia State. Sloan is not at Georgia State. So, put 2+2 together...

Have to think as our recruiting coordinator and from what I've gathered an exceptionally fine recruiter, giving a pay bump hopefully helps retain him for a little while longer?

Wonder if his recruiting role will change with this move. Not many coordinators are also RC.

Didn't know that. Figured they weren't super secretive reasons but didn't have any context. Sloan deserves all he gets.

Not sure his role has changed, just his title (and perhaps his salary).

Moose said "not now anyways" in regards to woody leaving. I'd assume this is more of a way to get Sloan in line for the next guy up for the coordinator position.

Like any company there are salary ranges for positions. I imagine without the word coordinator in the title we couldn't raise his pay.
