This blurb is from the article announcing the grant of the waiver for South Alabama:
"According to the NCAA ruling, South cannot be selected until all other eligible teams are placed for bowl participation. Should fewer than 80 schools be eligible to participate in a postseason bowl, USA will be placed in a game before any teams with 5-7 records are selected."

If you're expecting a health updates about a team that treats injury updates like state secrets and said Marcus Cox could be ready to play for three weeks until he actually played, it ain't happening.bigdaddyg wrote:How does the team look health wise? Yep, just wait until the team takes the field for the bowl game and see which guys who were never mentioned as hurt aren't even dressed out. Last year it was Harris and Law.T-Dog wrote:If you're expecting a health updates about a team that treats injury updates like state secrets and said Marcus Cox could be ready to play for three weeks until he actually played, it ain't happening.bigdaddyg wrote:How does the team look health wise? Half of the roster should be automatically listed as "Questionable" if we are copying the hoodie

Information about our injuries helps opponents prepare for us. The less information out there the better.T-Dog wrote:If you're expecting a health updates about a team that treats injury updates like state secrets and said Marcus Cox could be ready to play for three weeks until he actually played, it ain't happening.bigdaddyg wrote:How does the team look health wise? Heard it from a good source and just saying, it's pure common sense, but if Lafayette wins, they go to New Orleans and we go to Montgomery playing Toledo. If Lafayette loses, we are going to New Orleans.

Southern Miss also appears to be headed to NOLA.

If it is us vs Toledo in the Camellia Bowl that would be a good matchup. Playing anybody else there would be a real disappointment. Would love to go to a different city this year.

Sorry, but any MAC opponent other than WMU would me a letdown.

Toledo is 9-3. To say they would be a disapointment is just..... I certainly wouldn't mind a shot at beating them which is something stAte hasn't been able to do.AppSt94 wrote:Sorry, but any MAC opponent other than WMU would me a letdown.

As a conference, holistically it would be a letdown to play anyone from the MAC if a game against ConfUSA or the AAC is available.proasu89 wrote:Toledo is 9-3. Toledo would be a good opponent but I would still prefer a game against someone from the other two conferences.

Six bucks and my left nut says we are probably landing in Montgomery.
