Traveling to Troy game?

Unread post by mfrench » Sun Nov 06, 2016 12:05 pm

My son and I are heading from Taylor's SC to Montgomery and staying Friday evening. Does anyone have suggested tailgating sites at Troy for Saturday?

I'm headed down Friday and am really looking forward to it. I'm planning on parking at the high school - yes, it's $10 and there's free parking to be had but I'd rather give their economy a little boost while I'm in the neighborhood. From there, I'm going to do exactly what we encourage folks to do here ... wear my colors, be polite, and join a Troy tailgate or two. See y'all in the flatlands.

We're heading out early Saturday morning from Belmont. Should be a heck of a game!

We're heading to Troy on Saturday morning from Atlanta. We parked at a church parking lot near the stadium in 2014 for a donation. Very enjoyable fans at Troy.

We are going to New Orleans this week. I'm planning to head to Troy early Saturday from there.

App State Ticket Office has sold out of our allotment for Troy game this Saturday. I called the Troy Ticket office (877) 878-9467 this morning and got 2 reserve tickets in Section 105 Row 15....(Appalachian State Section - 35 yard line on east stands)

According to the Troy Athletic Ticket Office....if you are a veteran you can get into the game for free and General Admission tickets for family members are only $8 dollars. They are expecting a big crowd so arrive early, you can also park at the high school or church across the street.

Weather is expected to be Appstanding! 70 Degrees at kickoff...

Will be heading out Friday afternoon.

Lets Go App Nation.... Road Trip!.... Go Apps!
