This is great news. Hope we get there in time for a parking place. The Belk lot is where my son's car is parked anyway so I know where that lot is!asumike83 wrote:Awesome, thank you! What is the process for securing a pass in the Stratford Arms lot?

Parking for football fans without reserved parking passes will be available in the Carol Belk Building lot along Charles Boulevard ($20 per vehicle) and in the gravel lots along 14th Street ($20 per vehicle). Parking is limited and lots will open six hours prior to kick-off (8:00 a.m. for noon kick-offs) and spaces will be first-come-first-served. Access to the lots along 14th Street will be shut down four (4) hours prior to kick-off.”
We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Same lot, different seats, but that lot opens when I get there...long before 8am. That's for amateurs.strongwxnc wrote:Ok folks..
Let's get a roll call going on who is heading down.
Four seats in Section 220 Row J (seats 27-30)
Also got four tailgate tickets and a parking pass for the S. Arms lot.
Lot opens at 8am, but I plan to crack the first one at 7:30
Safe travels all!

I'll be there with 7 total. My tickets are in the other room and I'm too lazy
to go see where they are. We will be in the ASU tailgate lot jamming away. Go Apps!!!

Unfortunately I won't be making the trip this year either. You would think your friends (especially when both the bride and groom went to App) would know better than to plan a wedding for opening weekend. Give 'em hell for me, hate I'm going to miss it. Thank God for smart phones.

We used to play WFU early in the season each year. There were about 8 of us that went to ASU together and worked at the same Accounting firm. One of the guys chose to get married on the day of the WFU game. Only one of our group went to the wedding and the rest went to the WFU game. I would pass on the wedding.

Yep me too - Wedding to attend. Ugh. I will be relying on the smart phone as well. Can you listen to GOASU from your smart phone?

Hey ASU fans! Ready for football? We are. Anyhoo, I noticed that some of you were talking about the long climb to the upper deck of DFS...it is a doozy. I have sat up there a few times myself and have always been able to take the elevator up. There are two elevators. The one on the right is restricted but the one on the left has been first-come, first-served, at least before the game. Don't know if this is still policy or not but might want to check it out. Hope you guys have a great year and go undefeated...after Saturday...

Re: Roll Call for ASU-ECU
No ticket yet but I'm going to make the short trip from Hertford, NC and hope to pick one up heading into the stadium. My folks have tickets and are staying at my house for the weekend.
The weather is looking to be pretty decent. Not near as hot as '09 but it will be humid, be ready to sweat.

We would be glad to sell it to someone for what we paid.

Re: Roll Call for ASU-ECU
The last time we played at ECU, we didn't take tailgate food but did take ladderball and chairs. We parked at the Harris Teeter very near the stadium and bought our food there. It was easy tailgating and the walk to the stadium was easy as well.mountaineerman wrote:We are leaving hendersonville noon fri we are not sure about where to park. Re: Roll Call for ASU-ECU
My son just sent me this email from ECU Transportation regarding game day and parking details. Thought those of us heading down may want to see the details. I hope to get there before 9:00 am before they close the roads!
Subject: An Important Message from ECU Parking and Transportation on Football parking and traffic changes.
Reply-To: ECU Campus Living Dorm <COTTENRH-L@LISTSERV.ECU.EDU>
It's FOOTBALL time!!! During home football games, there's a few things ECU Parking and Transportation would like to remind you of in regards to parking before Kickoff. Kickoff is at 12pm so at 9am on Saturday, September 1, 2012 expect to see the following to happen:
. The Greenville Police Department will block the road between Charles Boulevard and Elm Street (14th Street) to all traffic as well as the entrance to College Hill Drive from 10th Street. This means that the portion of 14th Street from Charles Blvd to Elm Street and both the entrances and exits to the College Hill area will be inaccessible to ANY incoming traffic. Cars will be allowed to exit the area, but they will NOT be allowed to get back in - even if you have a permit!!!
. If residents of the College Hill dorms expect to have visitors that will arrive before 9am on Saturday, they will need to purchase a permit for them at our office before 4:30pm on Friday, August 31, 2012. They will need to bring with them to our office their visitor's vehicle information along with $5 for the cost of the permit. Please remember to inform your visitor that after 9am, no one will be allowed to enter the College Hill area.
Parking and Transportation would like to also remind all D permit holders that the Resident Remote lot on Curry Court as well as the lots around Belk-Health and Human Performance will be closed and designated for the NON-STUDENT Pirate Club. All cars must begin vacating those lots starting at 3pm on Friday, August 31, 2012. All cars must be officially out of those lots by 7pm Friday, August 31, 2012, or they will be relocated by a towing establishment. More information regarding D permit holder relocations (including STUDENT Pirate Club members) is available under Breaking News on our website

If you have any questions/concerns regarding parking at the actual stadium (Minges Coliseum lots) during the game, please contact the Athletic department at 737-4600.
