After we played him in the playoffs I've somewhat kept up with his career and he is beginning to really blossom as a player in the Cubs organization. Hes now at the point where he has been brought up and sent down a couple times but is looking like he might stick now. He was just put in the game as a pinch runner and is batting over .250 so far in his short career. I'm not a cubby but if I remember correctly we have a few on this board.

Does anyone else follow any former foes that impressed them with their play against App?

Their left tackle from that game was a beast and was drafted in the 1st or 2nd round but hasn't done much in the NFL. The panthers tried him out a while back but didn't sign him.

I remember some guy named named Joe Flacco with Delaware. That kid had a great arm. I wonder what ever happened to him? ;)

I get a big smile on my face just to hear Flaco name mentioned. What a memory of the whopping he took that Dec night in Chattanooga

If memory serves, Flacco held his own that night. We just had too much everywhere for him to overcome. But I think his numbers were very respectable.

Yup. And his numbers would have been better if he had receivers that could hold on to the ball.
