2/3 through day one and App Women are 2nd and App Men are 4th. In the SoCon we tended to have a better day one than day two the last few years off SoCon ITF.

Van Ord did a great job in the Women's 3000 m. She heard the bell ring for the last lap and just kicked in the turbo.

Women likely to finish Day 1 in first, men are a distant 6th.

Edit: Women have 21.5 lead after Day 1.
Men finish 3rd in Distance Medley, finishb5th for the day...only 5 out of 3rd.

Tristin Van Ord is the real deal; and she's only a junior. Image

I am not sure what is left to score on the Women's side. If all the scoring is in then the women have a 2 point lead over TxSt. If all the points are in we will have our first SB championship. If I jumped the gun on posting this then I'll be cussing myself later.

No jumping the gun.

Appears WITF has won our first conference championship!!! Won it in the the TJ. We were third with that final event to score and we picked up 11 points to bolt past A State and Tx State.
