What do you guys lose this year and what do you return? I know the QB is back, but I don't know much about the rest of the team.Gonzo wrote:I'm more optimistic about a top 25 preseason ranking in 2016.

Offense: Lose LT and C, lose four WRs (but return several who played a lot). Officially six starters back.Niner National wrote:What do you guys lose this year and what do you return? Defense: Lose our star DE and safety, but return everyone else. Officially nine starters back.
Also lose our PK.

Only chance at top 25 was to finish 12-1.
We beat 2 teams with a winning record (Ga. Southern and Ohio) and though we won, we did not look very good the last couple games against S. Alabama and Ohio.
Great season but not Top 25 as much as I would like.
Agree with this. The lack of effort or common sense by some of the voters on a week to week basis is a joke. Especially the coaches (or SID's) poll.

Re: Top 25 Finish
Just looked at a Dec 1 pole that had us at 53. Ohio was 36. After looking at what's ahead of us no way top 25. I'm thinking if we crack top 40 it's a huge accomplishment. At leat should be solidly in top 50. stAte was one ahead of us at 52 in that pole.

Not sure what you were looking at? - this is the final Coaches Poll - I believe if I counted correctly APP is at 37 --- and late in the season we were in a similar spot in the AP poll ---

Re: Top 25 Finish
You know what they say about ifs and buts, but I'd safely say all else being equal, a 12-1 conference championship team with its only loss to the national champ would finish in the Top 25, darn that Ark St game. 11-2 as impressive as it is, is probably not good enough for the Sun Belt runner up.
