We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Recruiting, 2013
DB Jordan Quebe (6-0, 170) of Cape Coral High School in Cape Coral, Fla., tweets that he is getting interest from Appalachian State. Says ASU is his leader for now and asks friends if they'll fly to Boone to see him play.
On a side note, I would urge our fans not to attempt to communicate with our prospects through social media or by other means. The NCAA has relaxed its regulations in this area, but in my opinion more harm can come from this than good. Just my opinion but it's best to let our coaches do their jobs without our interference.
Also, LB Aaron Plantt (6-1, 200) of Hallandale High School in Hallandale, Fla., visits Marshall this weekend.

I think we could have Plantt if we want him. He's from a suburban area of Miami and -- this is strictly one person's opinion -- the "fit" might not be there. I'm betting he commits to Marshall after this weekend.

Utah redshirt freshman RB Eric Davidson (5-7, 200) of Western Guilford High School in Greensboro says via Twitter that he is transferring to Appalachian State. Davidson redshirted in 2011 and posted no statistics for the Utes in 2012.

5-7, 200 is this guy in the mold of Ray Rice or MJD or what. Thats alot of weight to carry at 5-7 and still have the speed to play RB. Anyone see him play at W Guilford that can comment on this kid?
Appalachian State, Better than your school since 1899!!!!

Davidson's junior season highlights while playing at Greensboro Grimsley:
It should be noted that he played on two very mediocre teams in high school.

Many members denied that UNC-C would hurt is recruiting, but it looks like the Niners are already proving that to be untrue.asutrnr81 wrote:Kaliff Phillips committed to UNCC this AM.....![]()

At the appropriate time I will explain this situation BUT his going there was not a football only decision.JCline0429 wrote:Many members denied that UNC-C would hurt is recruiting, but it looks like the Niners are already proving that to be untrue.asutrnr81 wrote:Kaliff Phillips committed to UNCC this AM.....![]()

He looks like a powerful back too.....maybe someone who can get 2-3 short yards when we need it up the middle...ASUPATCH wrote:

Re: Recruiting, 2013
Mountaineer Illustrated posted a story about a commitment App picked up today.
6'2 205 LB/S Rashaad Townes from Macon Ga.
Was being recruited by Furman, Ga. Southern, UTC and MTSU. Apparently Huesman went to his school to visit after he committed to us to try and sway him, but to no avail
