Maybe they should just turn it over to the Business school
We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Season ticket prices went up
I believe the the school was deemed part of the problem initially. I seem to recall an unwillingness to share information across the two being an obstacle.
I know that there used to be a phone bank for the school to reach out to solicit donations. Is that still done or have they figured out that it’s pointless these days with folks not answering the phone of unknown numbers?

Are y’all really surprised ticket prices are going up? App State tickets have been underpriced for years. I’m sure some of y’all were Boy Scouts, always be prepared.

Makes me think of a problem we have in my area. There is a store that really sucks and when you bring something up it is alway " We can't get good help". Problem is, there are so many other businesses around them who don't seem to have the same problem.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 9:30 amI believe the the school was deemed part of the problem initially. I do feel that excuse is both over played and inaccurately applied.bcoach wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 9:38 amMakes me think of a problem we have in my area. True, but don't think they are underpriced.

When you say the highest price, are you including the PSL along with the actual ticket?

I absolutly believe they are underpriced. You sure as hell would never get a concert ticket for these prices. We want, we want, we want. Well then we need to pay. We can't keep expecting someone else to pay for our entertainment.

A big portion of our fan base has champagne tastes but expect to pay PBR prices for it. They don’t understand why we won’t pay an extra $500k for a head coach or increase our assistant pool by $1mil, then bitch about paying an extra $20 a year for tickets.
Winning costs money.

Or have others pay for it for them.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 10:14 amA big portion of our fan base has champagne tastes but expect to pay PBR prices for it. Re: Season ticket prices went up
I sit in 204. $400/seat giving required + $280 season ticket. That works to $113/seat/game (6 home games).
This is compared to $450 if I purchased each game individually, $75/game on average.
For some (pending where sit), season ticket prices are similar to concert ticket prices. We even include a $30 handling fee. Looking at the math above, there is a financial incentive to purchase single game.

Don’t forget to add the $20 minimum a game for parking that you’d have to pay to park since you would give up the parking.AppDawg wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 10:33 amI sit in 204. $400/seat giving required + $280 season ticket. That works to $113/seat/game (6 home games).

I remember having call-a-thons for the Yosef Club and this being a major issues. Re: Season ticket prices went up
When I saw it I think it was just the price of regular season home games. I forgot where it was. I know that $100/seat for Liberty last year was way higher than any other SBC home game ticket.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 10:02 amWhen you say the highest price, are you including the PSL along with the actual ticket?
