Re: Prayers for Coach Clark
I'm so sad to hear of the passing of Coach Shawn Clark. As an App fan, I have a lot of respect for him. Is there anything that we can do to help/support his family during this time?

Prayers to his family, friends, teamates, and all the young men he impacted over the span of his way to short life.

It seems we live in a world where we have blurred our own lines of decency and morality. We are humans first, all with the same internal components and more shared experiences than different ones. Its sad how some people can't seperate their identities from their passions.

Soul crushing news! Devastated for Jonelle, Gianna and Braxton. Shawn was the best of us!

People have become desensitized to the value of life these days.appstatealum wrote: ↑Mon Sep 22, 2025 12:29 pmIt seems we live in a world where we have blurred our own lines of decency and morality. Re: Prayers for Coach Clark
I have not posted in a few years but I read the Cabin nearly every day, some of you guys are so amusing. I was one who was glad to see Coach Clark get the job
after Drink left. I did think last year that we had given him all of the time we could to get things turned around and as much as we knew it was time it
was still the hardest thing to know we had to let go of one of our own. What I do know, is that on any and every gameday, no one wanted to win more
than Coach Clark. Thanks for giving App your all Coach Clark.

Re: Prayers for Coach Clark
No one doubts for a second that Shawn was totally dedicated to his craft, the community and App. He did his very best in a time of transition in collegiate sports and public health. Yes it is tough to say one of your own didn’t get the job done with the bar we set during this transition. Time will tell if it can be done any better in the future. Most of us share the grief his family feels that comes with the loss of a family member or close friend. Shawn will be missed, not forgotten.
