BGP
Appreciate AJ getting back to calling balls and strikes for this staff and how we are approaching various aspects of the program.
Much better than the apology hour each week the last three years.
While I agree I'd like to have more information leading up to the game, I have to wonder how much the nature of the TP and NIL era is playing into the ambiguity of the two deep vs. the staff's approach.
I remember see X OR Y OR Z in many position battles the last two years, I even take that the first game week.

Re: BGP
Count me in the group that would like a bit more info, but looking at programs around the country it seems like this is kinda par for the course, unfortunately. I think you’re right about the transfer portal playing a role.Saint3333 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 27, 2025 6:52 pmAppreciate AJ getting back to calling balls and strikes for this staff and how we are approaching various aspects of the program.

The Ethan Johnson interview has some good information between last year staff and DJ and staff.

Re: BGP
I've never believed AJ and BigC when they say they dont know anymore about whats going on with the program than we do...If you are as connected with the program and former/current players as they appear to be the you know whats going on.
No if you go around says things that were told to you in confidence you wont get told more stuff...Plus their initial mission was to not bad mouth coaches. They've said it for years.
So I'll forgive them for not being as openly critical as they could be.
But we know you know whats up AJ!

True. They know that getting guests we would want to hear will get them more listeners so they absolutely don't want to make people mad. Plus, they are good guys who aren't going to just go trashing people either.kornegaylw wrote: ↑Fri Aug 29, 2025 5:50 amI've never believed AJ and BigC when they say they dont know anymore about whats going on with the program than we do...If you are as connected with the program and former/current players as they appear to be the you know whats going on.

I've never met AJ or Big C but I'm sure they are stand up guys and I love the podcast....I haven't missed an episode in 10 years.
