We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: As a Pens Fan…

Luckily the NHL product is significantly better than the rest if the sports available currently, and we have a local team playing well. I felt like the Canes had a squad that could go deep with Stank and Jank, and now Svech and Freddie are playing up to their potential. It's been great.

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF

I'm still pulling for App State football and In still watching. I won't be giving a bunch of money though. I don't long for the days of FCS. I also don't long for the days of playing in some random bowl. I never want to go back to playing Wofford, Citadel, or Samford..... Things change and we adapt...

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF

It's a minor league now. College football is dead. We should refer to it as dead and a governing league needs to run CFB moving forward as kids are doing whatever they want with little governance at this point. I am no longer interested in App Football like I used to, I'll still watch and rep my gea...

Re: Pepsi is the drink of App State

I don't drink soft drinks, but I will be forever grateful to Pepsi. They were huge in helping me to get a new High school’s athletic program off the ground. I don't know how it is now but back then Wake County did not support the athletic programs. To any extent. We had to pay security, officials a...

Re: Someone please explain this currency

Google’s willow is ~100 qubits and it would take more than a decade to break block chain code. Now technology is exponential vs linear and compute will accelerate. Don’t “invest” in crypto what you aren’t willing to risk to the tune of slots level risk in Vegas. To daze’s point, Blackstone is inves...

Re: Someone please explain this currency

I’m of the opinion I’d rather invest in something regulated and something that has earnings. Too many uncertainties in crypto currency. No central bank backstop is a big one. It's kind of what makes it valuable- central banking has too much control. Blockchain gives proof of value without some "sha...

Re: DJ Smith DC

I'm excited to see DJ back on campus and on the staff. I wonder where all the nay-sayers who said hiring Shawn Clark was a "lazy hire" and that we stuck with the "good ol' boy" network are now. Crickets.... Clearly you see the difference between a life long G5 OL coach and a rising SEC CO-DC? Debat...

Re: Dowell's assistants

He hasn't but his portal has been popping...college kids all over the place want to play for BB. uNC wanted to be taken seriously and they proved it by ponying up the money for BB. I think UNC has gone all in on being the best. I hate UNC but I admire their effort with this. It is just the buzz of ...

Re: Marshall Pulls Out

Thank you for this. Quit blaming the players for not wanting to play for a coach that didn’t recruit them. Marshall obviously doesn’t care about those players leaving or they would’ve extended the coach who just won the conference title. How about they play for the love of the game? I played for so...

Re: Marshall Pulls Out

Go find me literally one player make more money per year in NIL than his coach. The vast majority of college football players receive very little NIL money. His analogy is strong and arguably incorrect, but he’s 100% right that college football has finally caught up with capitalism. Young men are b...

Re: Clark

I heard Clark is going to Tulsa to learn under a mastermind I heard Lamb would still be at ETSU In four years when App’s next hire hits it big, and then we could re-evaluate. Oh wait, he’s in Tulsa, getting paid more, yet wasn’t even interviewed by App. Logic checks out. What’s done is done. I’m no...

Re: Clark

Bill is calling a spade...a spade. He said he will build a professional franchise out of UNC. Now when are Legislators gonna decide paying teachers instead of coaches and using my tax money to support professional programs? It's inevitable. I never understood how so many people didn't see where "pa...

Re: What are the "ugly truths" about the football program?

I have a lot of thoughts about this. 1:we give them a full scholarship and probably NIL. Is it Apps responsibility to feed them every single meal year round? 2: they mentioned that they tried to purchase a meal plan but was told they couldn’t because he lived off campus. I don’t know who told him t...

Re: What are the "ugly truths" about the football program?

App will never compete with the "Power" schools on an NIL basis. The wisest move would be for Athletics to move in a different direction to attract and retain the best players for the program. Lean into some of App's media strength. Spend big on media (video / audio programs) and new media. Several...

Hoping next year ericsaid hasn't changed his name to ericsaiditoldyouso.

I'm whelmed.
Sadly, right now I would be much happier with his choice of Tre Lamb.
I wasn't sold on Lamb after contemplating it for the last 2 months. He'd have gave me more anxiety than Kenny Loggins is

The best interview. Had done his homework. Told us the ugly truth. Has a plan. We aren’t here to compete. We are here to dominate. Chip on his shoulder with something to prove. No one lit the fire until he interviewed yesterday. He lit it. The biggest takeaway from this is "told us the ugly truth" ...

Ted Roof is one heck of a good man , and football coach.
He was a mess when he first got here and wasn't meshing well with the veteran leaders we had in the locker room. But once that worked itself out, he was a solid DC for this team.
