Maybe we will be senior Fergerson during regular play.
What about Nikia Cathey? Is he going to be a RB or something else.
My bet is that Boyd and Cathey transfer next season.

D'andre presley. Just got hired on at App. One of the best example of student athlete at App. Started as Qb, played As receiver and db and special teams. Got I'm NFL rosters as db. Perfect example of Being a team player and playing the position the tea needs you to play

I think ASU_MBA was alluding to the fact that Presley actually spells his name "De'Andre."

He sure does. And you don't even need the '...it's DeAndre. That what you get when you're dealing with recruiting a D'Ante in a class and for trying to type and watch the game at the same time.SayYesToTheRock wrote:I think ASU_MBA was alluding to the fact that Presley actually spells his name "De'Andre."

And yes...I can walk and chew gum at the same time but apparently this was too much...

Or Ricky Ferguson....Two years ago he was getting significant carries.. And some starts. Now a Senior he returns the occasional kickoff...relegated to 4th or 5th RB . Rather than run my mouth on social media I'd have a talk w Coach and see what I gotta do to get on the field. Again DP is a noted for this. We do have a ton of talent at RB.....

I missed the announcement about DeAndre being hired. When did this happen, and what position was he given?

Avery Hall cab say whatever he wants, it's not going to change the nature of a message board.
On Boyd-why any adult would want to "follow" college boys on twitter is beyond me.

Why would a bunch of adults gather to watch a bunch of college boys hit each other? (see what I did there?)fjblair wrote:Avery Hall cab say whatever he wants, it's not going to change the nature of a message board.

It is clear you don't understand twitter...just because you follow someone doesn't mean you are friends or interacted with them. Twitter is an information outlet. Stories and issues tend to "break" on twitter before any news outlet. Also twitter is used by almost all coaches in college, what one posts on twitter can have a negative affect on getting a scholarships. Our coaches follow many "boys" on twitter so I guess your comment can be applied to them as well.
As for Boyd everyone here wants him to succeed. I want everyone who attends this University to succeed athlete or not.

Re: Idaho game: I like what I see, but where is Marcus Cox
fj...I follow recruits because it's one of the ways that I get the information that I put on here for each member to read. Once a recruit commits elsewhere I unfollow them but many that commit to App I continue to follow. And many of them follow me as well. Often these young men and women tweet out messages asking for support and other messages saying thanks to all of the fans that support them. Liking, retweeting, and even replying with a "Great Job" or "Keep up the good work" in the good times, and "Keep you head up" during the tough times shows that support to them and lets them know that fans appreciate what they do. And the student-athletes, as do all people on twitter, have the ability to mute or block any of the 'Old" people they don't want to follow them. Few do and most appreciate knowing that fans support them.fjblair wrote:Avery Hall cab say whatever he wants, it's not going to change the nature of a message board.

This isn't like requesting to be friends on Facebook or joining in on conversations between people. I don't talk to them but I will offers support and thanks when it's asked for. And will offer thoughts and prayers when those are asked for also. If they don't have a problem with the adult fans that follow them then I guess the problem is somewhere else.

Re: Idaho game: I like what I see, but where is Marcus Cox
Wow this thread got really off topic. So allow me to bring it back...outstanding job by the 1st string defense only giving up 13 points. Idaho most definitely has some weapons at tight end, receiver, and kicker. Their QB and RB play still need some work but they're on the cusp of really playing well.
Per some stories and tweets I saw Cox had a nagging knee injury and coaches wanted to rest him. He'll have plenty of time to get healthy before ULL. That said, WOW Jaelin (sp?) Moore. Kid went off. Bouncing off tackles, breaking tacklers down, keeping his legs churning. He's still a little under sized but another season in the weight room and he'll be scary good.
Receivers were all quiet but when you have a 244 yd rusher, they're not gonna be that busy. Good to see Meadors and Maguire get some yards/scores.

Re: Idaho game: I like what I see, but where is Marcus Cox
Boyd does need to calm down a bit, he will get his time. As for cathey; if he's smart he will stay with it. I could see him developing into an incredible slot receiver before he's done here.
We have great talent on our team. Just need to build some more depth on the lines; but we're getting there.
Also, yes, great job buy the guys yesterday.

With that logic, why anyone would come to a message board to talk about college boys is beyond me.

Thanks to AppMaj for nominating J. Moore for a Honda Helmet Sticker. JM didn't get one but he did get a nice shout out and clip of his performance on ESPN News.
