We better get used to teams bringing more swagger to our games than they have the last year and a half. We are now the hunted, embrace it.

No, we aren't really in the running for the NY6. But what the A-State blogger (who is usually pretty funny, BTW) missed is that it wasn't an App State fan or blogger who wrote that piece; it was the ULM writer for SBNation. So take it up with him, dude.

The G5 teams that are in contention for the NY6 have all been around for a long time. Some have sustained success for years others have just come by it recently but the programs have been at this level for a long time. It's going to take us 3-5 years of 9 win seasons to amass that kind of credibility and I'm OK with that. That's how it should be. Climbing THAT mountain is supposed to be a long arduous climbs.

A states schedule isn't much better. They did lose to usc and missori schools but outside of that not much better. They have the same type wins agains teams that should be at bottom of sunbelt by the time app plays them. Let them talk all they want and let us shut them up next Thursday after Troy business!!!

Toledo is pretty decent as well. They have played a much better OOC schedule than we have. They haven't played a Clemson but their three losses weren't against any slouches. They have beaten every one they should have beaten.

Arky State is all class fellas. Don't believe me? Well, if you are on twitter, all you need to do is take a look at the Tweet from their Head Coach in his office this morning. (saw it because coach Satt follows him). At first glance it looks like a harmless picture of a coach in a bear costume. What I really love is the bullet points behind him on bulletin board. A few of my favorites:
• Sometimes you step in Sh*t and it smells . . .
• Goofy Peckerwood
• Either you long D*ck’em or trick screw’em
• Sh*t “O” D*ck
