Time to focus on Troy

Unread post by Rekdiver » Sat Oct 24, 2015 10:31 am

The ambulance has been found, the protest is over, the victory over Stink celebrated, and to fill space a discussion about a trophy to be shared with the gnats.... It's time to focus on our next game Troy. We need another desisive victory. Time to get our " Trojan" on.

Agreed. The only game that matters is the next game. A "trick" by Troy would not be a treat. Just as we don't want the team to have a let down or overlook Troy, neither should we. Pack the Rock again, on Halloween.

This team is on a mission. As long as they keep the goal of RQ2K15 in front of them, I don't see them overlooking anyone

Troy up 42-7 over NMSU with 2 minutes left in the first half. They're still an FBS team and hungry to put the new kid in their place.

Pack the rock. Get rowdy. Focus on Troy. Kick a$$!!!!

i'm trying to figure out if Troy is turning the corner under their new coach, or if NMSU is just THAT bad and have quit.

either way, I know our coaches and players will be prepared

Troy is still dangerous and NMSU just isn't there. Plus Troy let one get away at home to Idaho last week and I bet they were pissed.

They're gonna push the tempo and we have to be ready for it defensively.

Hey now, Idaho's on a 2-game winning streak after today.

As for NMSU, I think they're just that bad...Tusculum could probably beat them at this point.

If NMSU isn't the worst team in the country, they have only North Texas to thank.

I think we handle Troy convincingly again, and I don't think focus will be a problem. But I do think they'll be good again pretty soon.

Troy could be turning the corner like we did this time last year. That's the storyline I'm sticking with to get folks to the game. This coaching staff and players have shown great focus, poise and professionalism. They'll be ready.
