We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

2007 and it was glorious.

There will definitely be a good crowd, albeit primarily students and we will prevail on the field. Since I can't be there in person and can't get it on DISH, will the game still be on ESPN3?

It's on ESPNU. You have it on Dish.

I believe that was 2007 when we beat them in the first round 28-27. All they had to do was line up in the center of the field and kick a FG to win it, but they got greedy and ran the ball. They fumbled and I believe it was Pierre Banks that saved the day by pushing off one of their players to land on the ball and save the game for us.

Look back a few posts, did not want to quote because it was so long. Not a big deal but I remember that game clearly standing soaking wet with sleet blowing in my face.

That's one of my favorite App football memories. As most of you know, my husband is not the sports nut his wife is. I had just had surgery on my shoulder and wasn't supposed to drive. Dear hubs looked at me and smiled. "Get in the truck," he says. I stood in the stands in my classic cold weather gear ... and a sling ... screaming and yelling for all I was worth. Great night!

Here's to another classic App win on Thursday!

David Glenn will be broadcasting his show LIVE from the Student Union on Thursday. Great publicity and should drive the walk-up crowd!

I know, but my receiver is mounted on the roof and there is debris. Not sure when I will have time to get up there. At the worst I will be able to listen to David Jackson on WKBC.

If you have a device that can stream ESPN3 you can also stream ESPNU. All of their cable channels, not just ESPN3, are available on the ESPN application on Roku, Apple Tv, etc.

All I have is the small I phone. Not practical. I may have to climb up late Thursday afternoon, if time permits.

If it comes to it, download the WatchESPN app on your iPhone and log into it using your DISH credentials. Not preferable, but better than nothing.

We watched the entire game on my Note 4 at the American Roots Tour on Saturday. Modest Mouse wasn't that great anyway and we had broken 50 by the time Eric Church came out.

A great way to use your phone, but still watch on tv is by using a device called a chromecast by Google. It allows you to use an app that can beam what you're watching on your phone directly on to the tv. You can pick one up at Walmart etc for about 30 bucks. That's how I watch all of our ESPN games and it works like a charm.

Forgot to mention that I'll be out of town until Thursday around 5:00 P.M. Regardless, I'll be watching and/or listening to the game Thursday night.
Thanks to all you guys for your suggestions.

2007 was the year. Had we not won that game the whole Michigan game would have been not as much fun to reflect back on in my opinion.

2007 was the year for one of the JMU fumbles that cost them the game. Had we not won that game the whole Michigan game would have been not as much fun to reflect back on in my opinion.

Many of the students I have talked to have no idea how they are going to get to campus, and where they are going to tailgate since the SGA is not giving out parking passes like they normally do. This is pathetic.

Easier said than done...will many students show up? yes

Do almost all students hate Appalcart? yes

I don't get why they didn't hand out passes like they normally do for after 3 pm.

If any on here believe the average student is informed about where they can go and what lots are alcohol friendly, then you are very wrong. Where will students who take the appalcart put coolers? or the leftover alcohol? grills? This is not just a simple "no excuse take the appalcart" just informing those on here of what my experience talking to the avg. students who are interested in attending the game that normally get passes.

Student tailgate with BYOB and concert is being set-up next to touchdown Yosef - starts at 4pm. Just before Moutaineer Walk at 4:15.

I may just have to walk over for the 1st time in years for it. Perhaps a Chatty Pavillion moment brewing???
