Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. Your memory is faulty, the Richmond playoff game in crappy weather was 2008 I believe. AE was playing hurt, had a terrible game and we did not win.

I believe the Richmond playoff reference is from 2007. It was a beat down and the crowd was incredible!

Look back a few posts, did not want to quote because it was so long. Not a big deal but I remember that game clearly standing soaking wet with sleet blowing in my face.

App met Richmond three times in the playoffs. Armanti went off in 2007 in a 55-35 win, we lost at home in 2008, and closed out their old stadium in 2009 with a win (and lost the next week at Montana).

I was talking about the 2009 game. And yes I was at the Richmond game and the Montana game. Quick should have caught that pass. For that matter, I was at the other Richmond games too. At Montana, my sons and I were sitting on the 2nd row on about the 10 yd. line. Quick was right in front of us. And, my goodness, it was CCCOOOLLLDDD; like about 2 degrees, & snow coming down sideways.

The game I'm referring to was the Richmond game where armanti had seventy three carries for 960 yards place was up for grabs and even the refs commented on how electric the crowd was.

Unfortunately I had to sit through a presentation featuring all the "infographics" on their page last Wednesday in place of a typical lecture prior to fall break. One of the organization's leaders presented this to us, and it was one of the worst things I've ever sat through. All of the numbers were taken out of context and specifically aligned to fit their agenda.

Side note: she gave this presentation while wearing an ECU sweatshirt.
Then I won't save her a seat!

I have always felt the walkup crowd is larger than many give it credit for. For a very long time, you could walk up and get a ticket on gameday. Those people are still out there. They wait to see what the weather is like and make a decision from there.

My son (high school senior) and myself are driving up from Lenoir leaving at 5:15 on Thursday. Got room for another App fan or two to ride up with us! We will be coming back down the mountain after the game. Send me a PM if anyone is wanting to go but doesn't want to drive or go alone! Its going to be a classic!

We're leaving work at noon on Thursday for our two hour drive up the mountain. Looking forward to great tailgating weather and getting into Section 203 a little earlier than normal for this HUGE game. We are staying the night and most of Friday before we head home.

Circled this game on the calendar 6 months ago. I am taking 2 PTO days to spend the full weekend in God's country, and the weather looks perfect. My 6 seats in 205, row 2 will be full and I promise to be IN MY SEAT AT LEAST 15 MIN BEFORE KICKOFF getting loud. Agree with this thread...no excuses. If you have season tickets and cant make it, do the rest of us a favor and make sure they get used. GIVE 'EM HELL!

That was the most fun I've ever had with my clothes on on a Friday Night in Boone

Another amazing home game, was the JMU game when they, instead of running out the clock and winning fumbled inside of the 10 yard line and we ran it back and scored, sealing our trip to the playoffs, forgot what year that was but the atmosphere was electric.
