Big shout out to my APPALACHIAN STATE MOUNTAINEERS!!!!!!! In our first year in FBS we are 6-5 and on a 5 game winning streak. We are currently ranked 75th in the nation, ahead of this rather impressive list of teams.

Virginia Tech
NC State
Texas Tech
Purdue
Illinois
Colorado
Indiana
Kansas
Syracuse
Wake Forest
Army
A combined 6 AP national championships on this list.
Could also leapfrog Kentucky and even Penn State as they are both playing ranked teams and maybe even Tennessee if they lose to Vandy somehow. For those keeping track at home we are ranked higher than 4 ACC teams, 4 Big 10 teams, 3 big 12, 2 PAC 12 teams and 1 SEC team(poor ole Vanderbilt).
We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

We're going to be hurt by any ranking that doesn't place extra weight on more recent games. Still, Sagarin's got some issues this year. See Florida State at 16

Sagarin is heavily favored toward FCS teams. That's why we loved it when in the FCS and hate it now.

completely ridiculous ranking. One of the most glaring misrankings is GSU so far ahead of Navy-who just destroyed them a week ago! Funny how we are now ranked a spot ahead of Michigan who destroyed us! Obviously doesn't take into consideration how teams are currently playing (as was pointed out). I see several teams ahead of us that we would have a great shot at beating, even on the road.
Hard to top the AP top 25 ranking we had for a week back in '07.

We were the team that sparked the rule change to allow FCS teams to get votes. North Dakota State has since taken advantage of this rule change but never made the top 25 either.

That's right, we got votes but never cracked the top 25. I wonder if we would have made it into the poll with a week 4 win. That was a helluva season though. Was cool to see us at least listed. Ranked ahead of Florida State after week 3.
