Don't forget the BOD is traveling to London for a parade over Christmas break. I think that is a much bigger deal than just a football game. This is the 3rd Time in recent memory the band has played internationally representing the US, NC, and Appalachian. That is a trip I am much more jealous of missing vs if they went to UM

As JT said, it is more important for the program for them to go to Ga Southern. The exposure the band gets is because of the football program. Doesn't the band need to be invited by the host school to even consider going? I may be wrong but I thought that was the protocol.

I don't think they should be going to GAS. What are they being punished for? I'm not suggesting that the GS game isn't a very important game - however the Michigan game is also on ESPN and will be seen by what 10x more viewers, 50x more viewers?
