Roof has been horrible for the better part of the last decade and he’s horrible now. No excuse for the defense to look like this. Drink needs to answer why he gave his washed up buddy an important position.

We’re going to give up 400 yards to Charlotte. Did that once all of last year...against Penn State. The step back this defense has taken can’t be understated. It’s shocking and completely unacceptable.

He was a TERRIBLE hire and immediately made me question Drink’s judgment. But he shouldn’t be fired. Yet.

Speechless. We can forget the NY6 dream, probably forget 10 wins and sun belt title...so depressing. At least the offense has been decent, maybe we can learn to win scorefests like we did from 2005-2012. But that's much harder in FBS...

I hate to say it, but I agree. GaSo will rush for 700 yards against this defense.

🤔. Yes, this staff SUCKS!!! Obvious from the first series.
The biggest issue is Gillan giving away our developed culture when he let the guys from the bowl win go. He owns this mess.

Literally all Drink had to do was let Gasparato run the same defense as we ran last year. Why is that so hard?

I’m not sure what kind of defense this is? Linebackers sitting back , downfield coverage nonexistent, and no attack to the line of scrimmage good god
Not to mention we haven’t kicked the ball in end zone yet this year what happened there?

I expected some fall off from what was a great D last year, but the Roof has more leaks than I anticipated. Charlotte better end up pretty good or we could be in deep dodo.
