Let's not get off topic...BoJangle's or Popeye's?

I go with BoJangle's.

CFA isn't fried, it's breaded and steamed, so it can't be compared.

And I'll agree with ericsaid for one thing, BoJangles on Western Blvd in Raleigh is top notch.

The BoJangles near where East Blvd and West Blvd meet in Charlotte is the OG BoJangles from 1977, though it has been remodeled. The one on Woodlawn is one of the first 5 or 10 ever built.

The Cameron Village CFA is one of the nicest restaurants I have been in fast food or otherwise. Period.

Not necessarily fast food, but my two cents goes to Rise Biscuits & Donuts...Deluxe Chicken Biscuit with a side of Hashpuppies...that's right hash browns made into hush puppies, it'll convert a third and short any day of the week and twice on Sundays!
Their store set up and donut options suck now! Why did they take away the Maple Bacon Bar?!?

The biscuits and hashpuppies are on point but I frequent that place far less often than I used to because it just lost so much of what made it great. It's a shame too because it was my favorite breakfast spot in Durham.

The Creme Brulee donut from Rise is top notch.

Man, this board has gone off the rails in the past week or two. I've seen people truly believe that Satt would turn down 20 million because he loves App and has kids in high school. I've seen people honestly believe that he was going to be paid 1.2 million at Louisville because some guy started a Twitter account and said it. I've seen people lose their minds because it's been ONE WEEK, and we haven't announced the most important hire a program can make yet. Now we're sidetracked on three pages of fast food talk. Fun times.

Y'all are worried about the wrong thing. Somebody better go check on the Watauga High football coach. Didn't one of the Satt kids just run for like 300+ yards?

Not sure if this is the house sauce you're referring to, but I was told the Jim's wing sauce is Peppercorn Ranch, Frank's Red Hot, and parmesan. Delicious.

Do you know the ratio?

Speaking of High Country food I have dreams about Foggy Rock Philly Cheesesteak...I usually inhale my food (product of military school giving you 15 minutes to eat) but I take my sweet time when I am chowing down at Foggy Rock

That's great info on their 2nd best sauce! Does anyone have the #scoop on #1? That Woodlands House sauce?

Afraid not. We made it without the parmesan and we just kept adding Frank's to the Peppercorn Ranch until the color looked right  Turned out pretty good.

OH GOD, can we Puh-leese announce the new HC so we can Argue over something football related rather than fast food?

I almost miss the days of arguing Satterfield vs Elliott for HC
10-2 or 2-10, hard to believe we had that argument. BTW, which thread is this.....

I guess what I’m trying to say by raving about Chic-Fil-a and putting down Bojangles is that I hope Gattis is the new coach but I expect it to be Ivey.
Word has it that it definitely not Ivey......just heard....

Uh, back to topic. In the NOLA paper this AM, DG mentioned that his experience hiring a coach is taking "twists and turns" and has not totally gone to plan. Yet he hopes to announce a HC by kickoff Saturday.
