MTSU
We owe MTSU one for a Div IAA playoff loss back in the 1980s!

I remember a 1992 loss to the MUTS in the first round of the playoffs.

Either way, time for payback.

It was my freshman year. It’s the only way I know which year. Plus, I tend to remember losses longer than victories.

While I expected it, it’s a damn shame that we can go 10-2 and win our conference and our “prize” is an 8-5 football team that couldn’t even win CUSA.

Careful. Toledo fans said something similar last year...and the year before.

MTSU ... I'll take it! We need retribution and win recruiting turf. Could have been worse. I have same sentiments aa others on UAB and some others.....Southern Miss sucks and would not help our cause anyway but chicken shit they are! Wish these bowl alliance dynamics would change in meantime and hope someday we could at least play a MW top tier opponent or AAC or 2/3 P5 guy.

MTSU probably strongest opponent we have had in our short bowl history.
KICK ASS!!!

MTSU's offense looks pretty legit. Should be a great game.

I’m thinking halfway between the stadium and Bourbon St. is the way to go.
I booked a room at the original House of the Rising Sun (Villa Convento) in French quarter, place is a little run down it appears, but what better experience for the family than to stay in a historic building a few blocks from Bourbon St. Free parking and a mile from Canal and the Superdome for game day Uber. Should get the most out of our short 2 days.

Tickets through my Yosef Club account would be $60.00 with no guarantee of location.... looks like booking through the Bowl would be $40.00 for mid range tickets..... not sure what my best options are...

Flying in Thursday and home Sunday afternoon after the Bowl. Thank goodness for frequent flyer miles. Staying at Hilton Garden Inn French Quarter on Gravier. Right between Superdome and French Quarter. Don’t care who the opponent is.....they better be ready for a beat down!

After Ticketmaster Fees, I can get mine thru the Bowl for about $50 and be on the sideline about midway up. I would hate to pay $60+ $15 and end up in a worse seat.....

Exactly. College Football could make many obvious tweaks that would make the sport that much better.

My words have no impact on the outcome. If they beat us, I’ll eat crow. Still would have preferred the CUSA champ.

It’s best to book tickets through the school. Yes it may be more than what you find direct or on another site, but it helps the school out tremendously.

If we do what we can do, you will not have to eat crow. I wanted UAB, as well, but the MUTS will prove to be tough.

Have 5 tickets for the game, 2 rooms at the Marriott and looking to a fun road trip from Raleigh, with pick ups in Charlotte, Waynesville and Atlanta before we get to Nawlins on Saturday!
