Got my birthday tix from UNCC last Saturday. There were no hot dog/drink vouchers so I called. Those have to be picked up at will-call. I guess they want to see how many fans in black and gold show up to claim the birthday vouchers. I'll be there.

Still waiting on both Penn State tickets and UNCC tickets here in Asheville ...

Talked to the ticket office this morning and was told some Penn State tix were mailed a bit later. Was assured I would have mine today or tomorrow.

To be honest both times I talked to them I never let on I am an App fan but I also did not say anything that would make then think I was a 49er either. My birthday is the 3rd and told them that and my name should be on the display board. I also posted some info about their other games and special programs as I said I would . I just did not tell them where I was posting the info, but I honored my word.

Yosef is Hebrew for Joseph and my last name, from what I read, at one time was Jewish when that side of my family lived in Germany centuries ago. At some point in the distant past that side of my family was converted to the Christian religion (I assume some pogrom did the job) but tossing out Yosef Hefner could work at some level and not be connected to App if they wanted to argue the point.

Is it too late and/or too culturally insenative to ask the Hillel chapter to get involved?

Off topic a bit but summer of 2017 I was in NYC for a few weeks at a workshop. I tracked down this establishment -The Original Soupman and had the Lobster Bisque. It really was as good at Elaine talked about.

When I called the ticket office today to order my women's basketball season tickets, I also asked about Penn State and Charlotte tickets. I was told Charlotte tickets we're being mailed next week. I was also assured that the Penn State tickets would arrive in time.
