Nate Woody to Ole Miss?

Unread post by AZAppGrad » Tue Nov 29, 2016 4:55 pm

I read an article yesterday listing the top prospects for the open DC position at Ole Miss and, according to the article, Nate is on their list. Has anyone else seen this?

That'd be risky for him, just as Ledford to State was last year. Ledford's boss made it by he skin of his teeth.

Definitely won't knock Woody for leaving but will any P5 program, especially in the SEC, give him time (2-3 years minimum) to implement his D? We all know he'd see a generous bump in pay. However those higher pay checks come with higher expectations. I have no desire to see him leave but would find it intriguing to see how his D would do in the SEC west.

Would be a big loss, but I think we would all understand and wish him well. Oxford is a nice place to live...it's no Boone, but it's a good spot.

I remember being frustrated with his transition time. It took me a while to get used to giving up yards between the 20s.
