J "The Onion" M
For years JCline has tried to tell you I was just picking on JM and holding a grudge. WRONG, as some of his actions have shown. As my grandfather used to say " the more layers of a onion you peel away the worse the smell." Therefore, I dub JM "The Onion."
Re: J "The Onion" M
Can't agree with you here. Unless there are things I do not know about JM he is a fine man.
I'm glad he has moved on at this point and I don't like the way things transpired but I do not believe there is a bad bone in his body.

This thread is about as dumb as they come....
The man wanted to coach another year... Seems to me that it's not against the law to continue what you love to do...
Sheesh.

Re: J "The Onion" M
norton...go turn in all your app gear...that man and his teams brought you championships and a possible fbs...just like someone in the upper app ranks told me...those hating on jerry are the same people who have a signed jerry pic or memorabilia beside their computer noting his accomplishments. the body's not even cold and we're calling him a bad guy...cut this $hit out! would you say it to his face or would you thank him for being a great coach and three time champ? un-effing-believable!
a hero one day and a goat the next....sad commentary on our fans...don't reply...i've had my quota of drinks tonight and i won't give a rats ass!

Re: J "The Onion" M
To all you guys, I never said he didn't do great things for ASU nor did I say that I did not like him. Think I know and care as much about our school and program as any of you. Some of you guys are saying aloud and probably privately that you are put out with his continuing reaction. Think back to before 2005 and tell me about him during that period. If you not a member of "That W-S Crowd" you really aren't informed about the whole, sad situation from the Chancellor to RL and JM. Oh gosh I forgot about vegamatic, the man who has driven more people from the message boards than a virus.
Re: J "The Onion" M
We did let him coach another year, 2011 was supposed to be his last. Now he wanted 2 more years... then 3, then 4... The man will be 74 next season. You can't coach forever. Things haven't been good off the field the past few years, this is overdue. Thanks for all you've done, Coach Moore.

...and the vendetta continues. You are a sad man and a sorry excuse for a Mountaineer.

If you aren't holding a grudge, why start this thread?
Time to turn our focus to Scott Satterfield and what the future holds, this does nothing but hinder our progress.

Re: J "The Onion" M
Don't really see the purpose of this comment or why anyone would feel it necessary to post it at this point. Personally, I still have a tremendous respect for Coach Moore, and I'm still grateful for all that he has done for our program and the way he has represented us. No, this process hasn't been what I would have wanted. I have never suffered from the delusion that any man is perfect. I just don't see anything here that makes me believe that Jerry Moore is anything other than a good man who wanted to keep doing something he loved.Robert Norton wrote:For years JCline has tried to tell you I was just picking on JM and holding a grudge. Hate to say it, RN, but the fact that you felt the need to post this thread seems to confirm the fact that you had a personal axe to grind. Can we please just move on?
Re: J "The Onion" M
Ha! I'm thinking this was aimed towards me... If so it's one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time... Not sure of a single person that's left because of the "vegamatic"....Robert Norton wrote:Oh gosh I forgot about vegamatic, the man who has driven more people from the message boards than a virus.

Apparently not everyone that disagrees with me is gone... After all, this thread is here...
Hmmm... I'll have to work on that...
Again ... *sheesh*

Please tell me you did not get a degree from ASU. Now that it is all over you post this to prove that you do in fact have a grudge against coach Moore. Then just to make us worry more about the value of 4-6 years at ASU two dipsticks give you a rep!Robert Norton wrote:For years JCline has tried to tell you I was just picking on JM and holding a grudge. I didn't think that was ok last week either.appbio91 wrote:This thread is stupid but I find it ironic that it was ok to call Jerry senile and a liar last week but not an onion now.
