UNIS
OK - since we are winning and most of us have nothing legitimate to complain about, let's talk unis ---
First, I don't care much for the all yellow - on TV the guys looked like blobs, how did it look at the stadium? - Also the yellow jerseys don't have their names on the back - by now I know most all of our guys even without seeing their number due to what is happening and where it is happening during play, however sometimes when the number can't be seen clearly a partial name can identify the player --- I actually liked the all-white look even with the white helmet (which I was prepared not to care much for) ---
My preference is and probably will always be the all-black at home - not only does it look good, it looks intimidating - I know today's players like the different combos and I am not complaining - I am ALL FOR whatever the players and coaches want to wear so this is just a thread about our (the fans) preferences now that we have just about all combos ---

Re: UNIS
I actually like the all Gold uniforms, but I like the all Black a lot more. The only combo we've worn that I haven't liked is the Gold Jersey/Black Pants combo against ULL.

Re: UNIS
I was streaming the game while I was at my weekend job running the planetarium at Greensboro Science Center. The yellow was so bright I was getting complaints from the customers from the glare. Before I could turn off the streaming I had already burned my retinas so then all I could do was feel my way around the Omnisphere. In turn I fell over a very expensive projector so my meager pay is being docked for the next 25 years.
Outside of that, I like the all yellow (gold)! It was different.

This is my very generic signature added to each post.

I like them all. Not super keen on the all white (big boys in all white shouldn't really happen). I do like the gold pants and black tops and vice versa, actually quite a bit.

My Mountaineer brothers, the colors of the uniforms are varied by each of our own perceptions. But what I enjoy the most is the heart, fight and caring brotherhood that exists inside those uniforms.

Not a fan of the all gold look. Like the gold tops with black pants and vice versa.
I'm fine with the stormtrooper look, just never at home.
Our tradition is change. Different looks every once in a while is fine.

Re: UNIS
I come from a time at App where every Saturday was Black Saturday. I still think that is how it should be so I prefer the all Black uniforms at home. It amazes me that in a day and age when every other team is trying to get a black uniform in their collection regardless if black is one of their colors or not, we are using it less and less despite the fact that it is one of our colors.

Well WVAAPPeer, if we ever have the pleasure of meeting in person you will quickly notice that there is nothing "light" about me. It is my understanding, we as my Ole Daddy would say, only live a hop, skip, and axle greasing away from each other.WVAPPeer wrote:Come on 83 - this was a light-hearted thread ---appfan83 wrote:My Mountaineer brothers, the colors of the uniforms are varied by each of our own perceptions.
