But, and I say this with Mountaineer peace and love.. peace and love..., re-think and rotate the places the chapter meets up for viewing. As an App State grad, I'd rather we support an App Grad owned business, that has, for many years, supported App State, rather than one who isn't.
Being a proud part of the "App Family" should mean something, and Harvey's has been there through thick and thin over the last 10+ years. When the CLT Alumni Chapter wanted nothing to do with the LKN zone, Charlie and crew, gave us a home base for game viewing and App State gathering. Let's not forget that, nor discount that...

I get what youre saying, but we do that. We do try very hard to work with App-alum owned businesses, and have done so. For example, we had a social event in Mooresville at Ultimate Ales, which is owned by an App alum. We've had viewing parties at Harvey's. We are big fans of Harvey's and Charlie!! I can honestly say that no one from our chapter is discounting Charlie's dedication to App State and the local chapters.
We understand that not everyone can come to every event we host, but we do hold events other than viewing parties, and always seek out App-affiliated businesses. I encourage you, and all LKN area App alums, to check out our other events.
I also ask that you all bear with us. The LKN Chapter was only created in August 2015. We're still building this thing, and trying to hold all types of events for our LKN alums. And, for those that may be interested, we do have a couple of spots still open on our leadership board. We will certainly welcome more help in planning and hosting event for LKN alums!
