Scary big attendance numbers for Miami

The weather will be a large factor. If it's a nice day then we shatter the attendance record. If it's nasty, it could be a very disappointing crowd.

This crowd will not disappoint. It's September and weather will not play much of a role. This game is bigger than the weather.

I hope you're right. Regardless, I'll be there come hell or high water.

I hate to disagree with a fellow Mountaineer, but there is, at least, one other good thIng about Pepsi. Pepsico is a MAJOR sponsor of Mountaineer Athletics. As I understand it, Coke was given equal opportunity to become the official soft drink of App State Athletics--and simply didn't step up. If you snooze, you lose. When new video boards go up in HCC (ETA early January '17) and at KBS (ETA TBD), I believe we'll have Pepsico to thank.

That pendulum will likely swing in the other direction some day, but it swings slowly.

Pepsi is a lot more willing to help out sports teams. They have helped out our local Pony organization for years when we could get nothing out of Coke.

Personally I feel Dr Pepper Snapple Group has both beat. With Carolina Beverage Company a close second.

However Pepsi owns Mountain Dew and as said they sponsor so I'm fine with it!

But Sundrop Trumps Mountain Dew in taste test just as Coke does Pepsi.

Mountain Dew has nice ring with our atmosphere and definitely Trumps Mellow Yellow if still in existence....ha!

That block A gate should be designated general admission tickets only...that would help remove some of the clog area at east gate entrance. And stream g.a. Tix straight to the hillside area. Also the area around the A is probably a no go...it's very steep and has a lot of erosion seams running down the hill and could cause a fall. I call it goat hill...it's tough working up there when painting the A...that is until the womens traxk team warms up....hey now!
