Realistic prediction. Stink usually find ways to not win the conference though...Dating back to SoCon days. Now...It's time to hit him with a "Not so fast my friend" and prove him wrong.

Based on GS's performance over the past two years, it isn't a ridiculous prediction. That said, predictions are just opinions. We all know what opinions are like! They are like a certain body part that EVERYBODY has and NOBODY wants to hear anyone else's!

Herbie picked GS for 3 reasons: beating Florida more recently than we beat Michigan, almost beating Georgia, and the fact they're at the top of the league every year. These guys don't research G5 programs, it's what they're immediately familiar with. That's all. End of story.

I think you probably put more time and thought into that post than he did in making his prediction.

Hubris has been wrong before when predicting anything related to App.

Herbie is the same guy that referred to App as Cupcakes prior to Sept 1, 2007. Nothing has changed........besides one could pick App, ArkSt or GaSo and not be too far off base, probably just about any year.

Herbie must be another of those infamous ESPN frat house/animal house guys who's yet to be caught and fired. He's so busy chasin' skirts and dryin' out that has no time to get educated about G5s.

We are AT GaSo - everything basically equal that could be his reason - that is, if he even looked at schedules ???

One thing against our conference is that we are even list last alphabetically so he probably got tired of picking and just took them for no particular reason

Let me give you something to think about – if we beat Tennessee and ODU, can ESPNs college game day come up to Boone for the Miami game? I think so!!!!!!!!

Since you're new, you have no way of knowing this, but suffice to say you aren't the first to suggest this idea. But it's not happening.

In the fairy tale world of big IFs......if this were to happen we should mandate Kirk Smirk Herbsmoke has to go into a booth setup unlike a dunking booth where we line up and throw black and gold iced cupcakes at him

You can never say never. I think in the last year they went to Temple, James Madison, and North Dakota State. Miami coming up to play in Boone would be huge if we beat Tennessee as we would be in the top 15 in the country. Beat Miami and we are on our way to 12–0. You never know!!!!
